ANÁLISIS DE PASTAS CERÁMICAS TARDÍAS DEL VALLE CALCHAQUÍ CENTRAL (SALTA, ARGENTINA)

Abstract

En el valle Calchaquí el Período de Desarrollos Regionales se ha asociado fundamentalmente a la entidad Santa María. En la cuenca del río Molinos, los poblados concentrados muestran mayor profundidad temporal, hacia el siglo IX, así como alfarerías diferentes de la santamariana. Presentamos los primeros resultados de un análisis de pastas cerámicas diseñado con el fin de obtener una caracterización del conjunto de la alfarería tardía que aporte a la identificación de relaciones entre asentamientos y grupos sociales

In the Calchaquí valley the Regional Development Period is associated to the Santamaría cultural entity. In the Molinos river basin, concentrated villages show older dates, begginning by the 9th Century, as well as pottery type different from the Santamaría. We present the preliminary results of pottery analysis, to characterize it and to the identify the relationships between sites and social groups
