Abstract
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a progressive meta-inflammatory disorder, which
induce micro and macrovascular complications. Resveratrol is a nutraceutical known
to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It improves insulin resistance;
however, no clear evidence regarding its effects in patients with T2DM.
