          Abstract

Sometimes intraoperative urethral injury occurs in Transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME). The aim of this study is to investigate the usefulness of indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescent catheter system for avoiding intraoperative urethral injury in TaTME in experimental model.
