Abstract
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common condition characterised by abdominal pain,
bloating, and poor quality of life. IBS might be caused by a gut dysbiosis. We aimed
to compare faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) with placebo in patients with IBS.
