      Auffällige CT-Befunde des Schädels nach präventiver ZNS-Behandlung akuter Leukämien bei Kindern

          Abstract

          Bei 15 Kindern, die im Rahmen der Leukämiebehandlung eine Sch-ädelbestrahlung und i.th. Methotrexatgaben erhielten, wurden com-putertomographische Untersuchungen des Hirnschädels angefertigt. Überraschend fanden sich bei 10 der 15 Kinder von der Norm abweichende CT-Befunde. Nur 2 der 10 »CT-positiven« Kinder wa-ren klinisch-neurologisch auffällig. Die im CT sichtbaren Verän-derungen der Hirnstruktur scheinen starker und häufiger zu sein, je länger die ZNS-Behandlung zurückliegt. Kinder bis zum 5. Lebens-jahr zeigten die schwersten Pathologika im CT und waren auch durch Krampfanfälle und Entwicklungsverzögerung aufgefallen.
