Abstract

Resumen La interculturalidad en la educación se centra en la integración y el respeto de diversas perspectivas culturales en el proceso de aprendizaje. Es un enfoque que reconoce la diversidad cultural en la sociedad y busca promover la convivencia armoniosa y el entendimiento entre personas de diferentes orígenes culturales. En este contexto, se llevó a cabo una investigación mediante una revisión de tipo reflexiva donde se analizaron un total de 32 documentos seleccionados a partir de las bases de datos Scopus, SciELO, Redalyc, Dialnet y Google Scholar. Para el procesamiento y presentación de los hallazgos, las categorías de análisis fueron preestablecidas, siendo estas: a) Tendencias Pedagógicas para fomentar la interculturalidad en la Educación: Una reflexión sobre sus enfoques, b) Abordando obstáculos y superando barreras: Desafíos en la implementación de la Interculturalidad en el Entorno Educativo, c) Integración y transformación de la diversidad cultural en la Educación y d) Fomentando la Tolerancia y la Cohesión: El Impacto de la Educación Intercultural en una Sociedad Globalizada y Diversa. La investigación resaltó la vital importancia de la interculturalidad en la educación, que enriquece la experiencia educativa y moldea ciudadanos competentes en una sociedad globalizada y diversa.

Abstract Interculturality in education focuses on the integration and respect of diverse cultural perspectives in the learning process. It is an approach that recognizes cultural diversity in society and seeks to promote harmonious coexistence and understanding between people of different cultural backgrounds. In this context, an investigation was carried out through a reflective type review. A total of 32 documents selected from the Scopus, SciELO, Redalyc, Dialnet and Google Scholar databases were analyzed. For the processing and presentation of the findings, the categories of analysis were pre-established, being these: a) Pedagogical Trends to promote interculturality in Education: A reflection on their approaches, b) Addressing obstacles and overcoming barriers: Challenges in the implementation of Interculturality in the Educational Environment, c) Integration and transformation of cultural diversity in Education and d) Promoting Tolerance and Cohesion: The Impact of Intercultural Education in a Globalized and Diverse Society. The research highlighted the vital importance of interculturality in education, which enriches the educational experience and shapes competent citizens in a globalized and diverse society.
