          Abstract

          Este levantamento da vegetação de restinga no Município de Maricá, executado no período de 1985 a 1988, abrange 379 espécies, em continuação a estudos anteriores em Barra de Maricá, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Os estudos e observações realizadas, comparam as localidades de Barra de Maricá e Itaipuaçu e mostram a distribuição das espécies no ambiente em função de características topográficas e outras particularidades, permitindo relacionar e descrever 10 comunidades dentro do ecossistema.

          Translated abstract

          This survey of the "restinga" vegetation in the Maricâ Municipal District, performed from 1985 to 1988, perceive 379 species in continuation to early studies in Barra de Maricâ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This paper wish to compare the localities of Barra de Maricâ and Itaipuaçu, showing the distribution of species in relation to topography and others environment factors. Ten comunities are described in the ecosystem.
