In my current professional capacity, my research interests revolve around the following focal points:
- Conducting bibliometric analysis of research outputs;
- Investigating impediments to the adoption of open science practices among researchers;
- Exploring the role academic libraries play in supporting research;
- Analysing the significance of local journals in the broader scientific communication landscape;
- Delving into issues related to the correct research evaluation;
- Scrutinizing cases of scientific fraud and unethical conduct within the scientific community.
Throughout my professional trajectory, I have demonstrated proficiency in the effective leadership and execution of a diverse array of scientific and practical initiatives, including:
- Development of a national search engine based on open citations;
- Projects on preservation, organisation and dissemination of research data;
- Providing legal access to full-text online academic resources.
I studied philosophy at the University of Lviv and completed my PhD in social communications at the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. My professional experience encompasses a series of roles within libraries across Ukraine, including serving as the Director of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Library and as the Deputy Head of Research at the State Scientific and Technical Library. In addition to my work in libraries, I have also contributed to higher education by delivering courses on "Bibliometrics and Scientometrics" as well as "Information Literacy" at various universities.
In 2021, I became a member of the team at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Library, where I continue to leverage my expertise to support academic endeavours and knowledge dissemination.
