Abstract

El artículo busca mostrar cómo en Latinoamérica aceptamos y copiamos una visión del mundo construida en Europa, sobre todo durante los siglos XIX y XX, que responde a los intereses de esa pequeña parte del mundo, pero que no permite explicar correctamente el desarrollo de la historia desde nuestras necesidades. Me pregunto cuál es lugar de nuestros países en la historia universal y después de mostrar lo poco explicativas que resultan las construcciones hermenéuticas europeas, propongo la necesidad imperiosa de construir explicación a la historia mundial propuesta desde esta parte de América.

Translated abstract

In this paper I argue that Latin America accepts a worldview developed in Europe. This worldview was conceived during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and it serves the interests of one small part of the world. It is not useful to adequately explain our history. In the article, I point out some inconsistencies present in the History we received from Europe. I show the need to deconstruct this vision and I appeal to the need to write a universal history from Latin America, to explain our societies.
