Abstract

Purpose: The ABCD (Advantages, Benefits, Constraints, and Disadvantages) analysis framework evaluates a notion or idea's applicability in a certain circumstance. It examines the effectiveness of a concept or strategy as well as the qualities of the individual, the system, and the environment. It was also investigated for any characteristics that might be relevant to the constitution. Each component of the major characteristic of CSR activities and green banking services and its impact on attracting and retention of customers is given an appropriate score or weighting in the quantitative analysis utilizing ABCD analysis. Design: The ABCD analytical framework determines the proper score weighting that is assigned to all the significant constituents under each variable by analysing empirical data, the efficacy of CSR activities and green banking services to retain customers. The results of a focus group evaluation are then used to calculate each construct's overall score. Findings: Using the ABCD analysis framework, a business model, concept, product, strategy, or system is examined and assessed. This method of analysis is widely used by academics in a wide range of disciplines. According to a quantitative ABCD study, the benefits factors have a substantial influence on the success of CSR and green banking services. The ABCD study supports the notion or belief that CSR inbound activities to promote green banking practises. Originality/Value: Before discussing what is being done regarding determinant issues, key attributes, factor analysis, and elementary analysis based on crucial constituent elements of CSR activities and green banking practises to retain customers, this paper begins by reviewing prior research using the ABCD analysis framework. Paper Type: Empirical analysis.

ABCD Analysis as Research Methodology in Company Case Studies

Company analysis is a type of Case Study method among many types of Case study based Research Methods. While developing a Company Case study based on various issues in Management, the researcher can choose any company of any industry to study an issue or to solve a problem. Usually, a case analysis ends up with the observation of new performance pattern, interpretation of issues in the form of new information, or development of new suggestions to improve the system or to solve the problems optimally. Company analysis is considered to be a most powerful method to study new lessons required to identify, understand, and solve the problems in the process of managing and leading the organizations. Analysing business issues related to a company provides an opportunity to researchers to identify the kinds of situations, decisions, and dilemmas managers facing every day. Company analysis is a powerful tool in developing both research case study and teaching case study in business management subject. In this paper, we have discussed how ABCD Analysis as Research Methodology in company case analysis procedures in order to help the budding researchers while developing and analysing Company analysis as a Case study. In this paper, we have checked whether ABCD (Advantages, Benefits, Constraints, and Disadvantages) analysis framework can be used while analysing a company, how to consider various determinant issues of a company, selecting various affecting factors under these issues and identifying constituent critical elements for each construct using its elemental analysis technique, and the reasons to recommend the ABCD analysis framework in any kind of company analysis.

ABCD analysis of Dye-doped Polymers for Photonic Applications

Photonics is a subject of scientific study on generating, controlling, harvesting and detecting the beam of photons or light with a purpose of creating, manipulating, storing, transmitting and detecting information using nonlinear optical properties of materials. This paper is a new attempt to integrate scientific research and social research by analysing the characteristics of dye-doped polymer films for photonics applications. The analysing framework called ABCD framework to analyse any business concepts, business systems, technology, strategy, engineering material, technology or even an idea systematically by identifying the advantages, benefits, constraints, and disadvantages under various determinant issues and listing the constituent critical elements under each construct. In this paper, as per the ABCD framework, the various determinant issues related to the use of dye-doped polymer films for photonic applications through focus group method are determined as affecting factors under : (1) Material Issues, (2) Application Issues, (3) Commercialization Issues, (4) Production/Service providers Issues, (5) Customer Issues, and (6) Environmental/Social Issues. The constituent critical elements of these factors are listed under the four constructs - advantages, benefits, constraints and disadvantages of the ABCD technique and tabulated. The analysis has brought about 204 critical constituent elements which satisfy the success of this analysis methodology.
