          Abstract

The Orcen Peaeh Aphid (Myzuspérsicas (Sulz er)) and the Black Bean Aphid (Aphis fabae Scop oli), are polyphagous pesls transmitting viruses and affecting host plants physiology. The objectivc vvas to obtain and compare biological and populational parameters of both aphids on beet cultivars Green Top Bunching and Early Wonder and string bean Sofía and Blue Kentucky. Forty neonate nymphs per aphid spccies and cultivars were placed individually inlo cages containing one plant with 3 truc leaves. Cohort events were recorded daily until the death of the last témale.. Events of the cohort were recorded daily from oflspring to the dead of the last témale. We calculated the intrinsic rate of increase (rni). net reproduction rate (Rn) and other parameters. The statistical analysis was carried out using Student's test (a = 0.05). We conclude that A. jaban and M. persicae, have lovver pcpulation increases on Sofía and Early Wonder respectively
