Abstract

Resumen Este trabajo analiza la situación actual del Turismo Accesible en una de las islas más visitadas del Archipiélago Canario, la isla de Gran Canaria. El análisis realizado de la oferta turística disponible concluye que en la actualidad no se puede ofrecer esta isla como un destino adecuado a este tipo de turistas, por lo que se proponen un conjunto de medidas de mejora que podrían convertirlo en un destino turístico accesible.

Abstract The current situation of Accessible Tourism in one of the most visited islands of the Canary Islands, the island of Gran Canaria, is analyzed in this paper. The analysis carried out of the available tourist offer concludes that at present this island cannot be offered as a suitable destination for this type of tourists, so a set of improvement measures are proposed that could make it an accessible tourist destination.
