Abstract

O artigo situa, inicialmente, a pesquisa em Psicologia Analítica no contexto da metodologia qualitativa e articula as perspectivas metodológica e epistemológica do paradigma junguiano com o objetivo de discutir o papel e a atitude do pesquisador no processo de pesquisa, destacando a participação do inconsciente na produção de conhecimento científico. O artigo discute a relação pesquisador-pesquisado, sublinhando a interação entre conhecimento e autoconhecimento, observação e auto-observação, subjetividade e objetividade do pesquisador. Finalmente é ressaltada a importância de uma formação específica para o pesquisador junguiano com a meta de desenvolver neste uma atitude simbólica diante do processo de pesquisa que atende às demandas epistemológicas e metodológicas do paradigma junguiano.

Translated abstract

At the start, the article locates researching in analytical Psychology in the frame of qualitative methodology and articulates the epistemological and methodological perspectives of the Jungian paradigm with the main goal of discussing the researcher’s role and attitude along the researching process, stressing the participation of unconscious aspects while producing scientific knowledge. The article also discusses the relationship researcher-participant, emphasizing the interaction between the researcher’s knowledge and self-knowledge, observation and self-observation, subjectivity and objectivity. Finally it is stressed the relevance of training for the Jungian researcher aiming the development of a symbolic attitude at the researching process in order to attend the Jungian paradigm’s epistemological and methodological requests.
