Abstract

El autor presenta la toma de decisiones que fue haciendo para concretizar la unidad de análisis y de muestreo en el proceso investigativo de su tesis doctoral en curso. El tipo de estudio es exploratorio y está referido al análisis del ideal de contenido y forma de diez analistas (cinco argentinos y cinco mexicanos). El diseño de la investigación es no experimental y sincrónico dado que recolecta los datos en un solo momento y de modo único. El instrumento de recolección de la información se basó en entrevistas semiestructuradas. A la información obtenida se le aplicó el Algoritmo David Liberman (ADL) en su modalidad de análisis de los relatos. El método está basado en la teoría psicoanalítica de las pulsiones y defensas que ha articulado y desarrollado David Maldavsky. Se determinaron cuatro tipos de relatos posibles de análisis, a partir de los cuales se decidió que el análisis del ideal de los analistas se enfocaría sobre la experiencia de participación institucional. Se seleccionaron 10 psicoanalistas de dos países, Argentina y México. También se enfrentó la problemática de cómo comparar los relatos obtenidos. Esto se resolvió al seleccionar la unidad de muestreo tomando una serie de relatos que permitieran evidenciar historias de un antes y un después sobre la vivencia de la participación institucional.

Translated abstract

The author presents the decision making alternatives he considered in order to obtain a unit of analysis and sampling in the investigative process of his doctoral thesis in course. The type of study is exploratory and refers to the analysis of the content and forms of ideals of ten psychoanalysts (five Argentineans and five Mexicans). The design of the investigation is non experimental and synchronic since the data is collected with one tool at a definite time. The instrument for data collection was the semi structured interview. The narration analysis approach of The David Liberman Algorithm (DLA) was then applied. The method, created and developed by David Maldavsky, is based on the psychoanalytic theory of drives and defenses. Four types of possible narrations for analysis were sorted which led to the decision to focus the analysis on the experience of institutional participation. Ten psychoanalysts from two countries, Argentina and Mexico, were selected. Also, the problem of how to compare the narrations obtained had to be dealt with and was later solved on selection of the sample unit by considering a series of narratives that allowed to present narratives of different moments concerning the experience of institutional participation.
