          Abstract

          Uma nova espécie de Compsibidion Thomson, 1864 é descrita do Piauí. Sydacini, nova tribo de Cerambycinae, é validada. As espécies de Cerambycidae atualmente registradas para o Piauí (118) e para o Ceará (126) são apresentadas. São acrescentados vinte e dois novos registros para o Piauí e onze para o Ceará. Duas espécies são excluídas da fauna do Ceará: Hippopsis lemniscata lemniscata (Fabricius, 1801) e Oncideres saga (Dalman, 1823).

          Translated abstract

          A new species of Compsibidion Thomson, 1864 is described from Piauí. Sydacini, a new tribe of Cerambycinae, is validated. Species of Cerambycidae currently recorded for Piauí (118) and for Ceará (126) are presented. Twenty-two new records for Piauí and eleven for Ceará are reported. Two species are excluded from the fauna of Ceará: Hippopsis lemniscata lemniscata (Fabricius, 1801), and Oncideres saga (Dalman, 1823).

          Catalogue of the Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) of the Neotropical Region. Part II. Subfamily Lamiinae

          A catalogue of the subfamily Lamiinae (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Neotropical region is presented. The tribes (36), genera (723), species (4231) and subspecies (60) are listed in alphabetical order. Under each family-group name bibliographical references are given and under each species-group name, data on the type-locality, the acronym of the institution where the type is deposited, the geographical distribution and detailed bibliographical references are provided. Two new combinations are proposed: Urographis eucharis (Bates, 1885), new comb. and Urographis vexillaris (Bates, 1872) new comb., both from Graphisurus LeConte, 1852, not Kirby, 1837.             A catalogue of the subfamiliy Cerambycinae (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Neotropical Region is presented. Fifty-seven tribes, 10 subtribes, 716 genera, 3789 species and 68 subspecies are listed in alphabetical order. Under each family-group name bibliographical references are given and under each species-group name, data on the type locality, the acronym of the institution where the type is deposited, the geographical distribution and detailed bibliographical references are provided. One new combination is presented: Plocaederus yucatecus (Chemsak & Noguera, 1997), new comb., from Brasilianus.
