          Abstract

This work aims to solve the complex problems of non-linearity, instability, and multiple economic factors in the tax forecast of the ceramic industry to ensure the sustainable development of the ceramic industry. The key influential indicators of the tax forecast are obtained by analyzing the principal components affecting the tax index. In addition, a human-computer interaction (HCI) system is established based on cognitive psychology theory to improve the user-friendliness of tax analysis. At the same time, the tax data of the ceramic industry in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province in different years are used for the empirical analysis of the tax prediction of different prediction models, including particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, and fusion algorithm (FA), and support vector machine (SVM). This work comprehensively analyzes the influence of the optimized tax supervision mode on the economic development of the ceramic industry and provides ideas for the development of the ceramic industry in Jingdezhen. The research results demonstrate that the main indicator affecting tax revenue is the added value of the primary and secondary industries. The optimized SVM based on grid search method can provide a comprehensive data base for tax forecasting. The optimization of the computer system based on cognitive psychology improves the model prediction accuracy by 10%, and the absolute error decreases from 6.9 to 1.8%. The tax forecast results indicate that the tax imbalance in Jingdezhen is increasing. Therefore, the government needs to attach great importance to the development of the ceramic industry and strictly implement the tax policy. The tax supervision model can alleviate the problems of low fiscal contribution rate, tax evasion, and management loopholes. In addition, the SVM tax prediction model optimized by grid search method will lay a theoretical foundation for the research and application of taxation in the ceramic industry.

Mutual Regulation of Tumour Vessel Normalization and Immunostimulatory Reprogramming

Blockade of angiogenesis can retard tumour growth, but may also paradoxically increase metastasis 1,2 . Vessel normalization (VN) may resolve this paradox 3 . VN involves increased pericyte coverage, improved tumour vessel perfusion, reduced vascular permeability, and consequently mitigated hypoxia 3 . While these processes alter tumour progression, their regulation is poorly understood. Here we show that Type 1 T helper (Th1) cells play a crucial role in VN. Bioinformatic analyses revealed that gene expression features related to VN correlate with immunostimulatory pathways, especially T lymphocyte (TL) infiltration/activities. To delineate the causal relationship, we employed various mouse models with VN or TL deficiencies. While VN disruption reduced TL infiltration as expected 4 , reciprocal depletion or inactivation of CD4+-TLs decreased VN, indicating a mutually-regulatory loop. Additionally, CD4+-TL activation by immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) increased VN. IFNγ+ Th1 cells are the major population associated with VN. Patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumours growing in immunodeficient animal hosts exhibited enhanced hypoxia compared to the original tumours in immunocompetent human hosts, which was reduced by adoptive Th1 transfer. Our findings elucidate an unexpected role of Th1 in vasculature and immune reprogramming. Th1 cells may be a marker and a determinant of both ICB and anti-angiogenesis efficacies.

The relationship between economic growth, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions: Empirical evidence from China.

Following several decades of rapid economic growth, China has become the largest energy consumer and the greatest emitter of CO2 in the world. Given the complex development situation faced by contemporary China, Chinese policymakers now confront the dual challenge of reducing energy use while continuing to foster economic growth. This study posits that a better understanding of the relationship between economic growth, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions is necessary, in order for the Chinese government to develop the energy saving and emission reduction strategies for addressing the impacts of climate change. This paper investigates the cointegrating, temporally dynamic, and casual relationships that exist between economic growth, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions in China, using data for the period 1990-2012. The study develops a comprehensive conceptual framework in order to perform this analysis. The results of cointegration tests suggest the existence of long-run cointegrating relationship among the variables, albeit with short dynamic adjustment mechanisms, indicating that the proportion of disequilibrium errors that can be adjusted in the next period will account for only a fraction of the changes. Further, impulse response analysis (which describes the reaction of any variable as a function of time in response to external shocks) found that the impact of a shock in CO2 emissions on economic growth or energy consumption was only marginally significant. Finally, Granger casual relationships were found to exist between economic growth, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions; specifically, a bi-directional causal relationship between economic growth and energy consumption was identified, and a unidirectional causal relationship was found to exist from energy consumption to CO2 emissions. The findings have significant implications for both academics and practitioners, warning of the need to develop and implement long-term energy and economic policies in order to effectively address greenhouse effects in China, thereby setting the nation on a low-carbon growth path.
