          Abstract

          O artigo discute as relações de poder que permeiam o processo de ensino de enfermagem, desvelando algumas contradições entre o discurso e a prática dos educadores da área e seu impacto negativo na inserção dos egressos no mercado de trabalho.

          Translated abstract

          This article discusses the power relations which permeate the Nursing Teaching process. It unveils some contradictions between the discourse and the practice of teachers in this area and its negative impact in the insertion of egresses into the work market.
