Abstract

A suction-cup is placed over the cornea. A negative pressure is brought about in the cup. Thus its edge pressure on the eye resulting in a rise of the intraocular pressure. The behavior of the central retinal artery can be judged through the cup (pulsation and obstruction of the blood supply). With the help of the assav curves it is known at what intraocular pressure these changes arise.
