Abstract

El análisis de los procesos de inmigración cultural -científica e intelectual- no puede ser abordado por fuera del estudio de las condiciones de recepción que en el plano de las instituciones y las políticas culturales ofrece la sociedad que acoge a los nuevos agentes culturales. Es por eso que el estudio de las perspectivas del liberalismo gobernante en los años 1930 en Colombia sobre esas materias, es una óptica favorable para comprender el significado del pequeño contingente de inmigrantes que huyendo del fascismo y del nazismo llegaron al país.

The analysis of the processes of cultural immigration -scientific and intellectual- cannot be discussed outside the study of the conditions of reception that, in the plane of the institutions and cultural policies, the society offers to welcome new cultural agents. That is why the study of cultural perspectives of governing liberalism in the 1930's in Colombia, turns out to be a favorable perspective to understand the meaning of the small contingent of cultural immigrants that arrived at the country escaping from Fascism and Nazism.
