Abstract: This essay raises the possibility of developing a new model of collective, non-alienating spirituality from an organized Marxist and Christian paradigm. For this, it addresses the notion of spirituality from different perspectives and the role that religious alienation plays in its development. Likewise, it addresses the relationship that Marxism and Christianity have maintained respectively throughout history, reading certain concepts of critical philosophy, as well as the Marxist theory itself, studying their similarities and discrepancies, the difficulties that their linkage has entailed, in the same way as the experiences of communion that they have shared during the last decades, paying special attention to the case of Latin America.
