Abstract

O artigo discute a reforma em curso no ambiente científico e tecnológico brasileiro, patrocinada pelo governo federal, situando-a no contexto das principais características históricas desse ambiente.

Translated abstract

This article examines the science and technology reform currently underway. This reform, sponsored by the Brazilian federal government, is set in a historical context, allowing for a discussion of the particular characteristics of the science and technology sphere during each period.
