Point-of-Care Testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections is a curated collection promoting articles in point-of-care testing for STIs, including cutting-edge research and innovations in rapid diagnostic testing.
Research and review papers, as well as conference proceedings and poster abstracts addressing emerging challenges are included. The collection is intended to provide researchers and advanced students with an orientation of the field, to point them to relevant workgroups, and to address current challenges. The collection will grow over time in collaboration with experts in the field. There will be synergies with other collections within the Point-of-Care Testing Super Collection.
This collection comprises research and review papers published in peer-review journals, as well as selected conference papers and poster abstracts. The focus is on highly cited papers published since 2006.
Articles will include infections such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis, HPV and Genital herpes. Hepatitis B and C articles can be located in a separate collection entitled Point-of-care Testing for Hepatitis.
