          Abstract

          This chapter discusses the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi biofertilizers on soil health. It begins by addressing the key issues of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and soil health, specifically focusing on improved soil structure and stability, soil contamination, carbon sequestration and nutrient retention. The chapter also reviews arbuscular mycorrhizal biofertilizer production and managing arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi for soil health purposes.
